Tuesday again girls, and that means I get to share a new story with all of you.
Today I bring you Like Wishing For Rain. I have to be honest with you all, I fell in love with the story’s title; my first thought was “I have to read this”, once I started reading my second though was “I have to share” so, here we are.
Friends to lovers is an all time favorite theme of mine, either in fanfiction or M/M Romance stories there is always something powerful about two friends finding the love of their lives in each other.
Jasper’s sister Rosalie is one of the girls that knows about Edward’s secret.
“Girls watch porn,” Edward mumbled.
Jasper didn’t seem to hear him. He looked like he was on the edge of a freak-out or something. He kept turning the video over and over. Edward was an only child so he wouldn’t know what it was like to catch your twin sister watching porn.
“Edward?”
“What?”
“Why do you think my sister was watching this?”
Fuck, if Jasper thought Rosalie was a pervert for watching this video, it must mean that Edward was also a pervert. Or Worse. Because Edward owned the video hidden in his drawer. Rosalie had probably borrowed it from someone.
Together with Bella and Alice, Rosalie has been behind the many plots to bring Edward and Jasper together over the years. I have to say I’m all for no vag at all on my slash but Drizl manages to create girls that you want to have around. Rosalie is still a little bit of a bitch but the kind you definitely want to have as a friend.
Rosalie.
Edward growled quietly. It was her fault he was sitting her with an upset Jasper and gay porn under his couch. This must have been another one of her stupid plans to test Jasper. Edward was going to kill her for involving him in her silly schemes. They never worked out. Edward should know, because the two of them had been cooking up plots and plans since they were fifteen years old and so far, none of them had worked. And now Bella and Alice were also in on the deal. They had formed this group and put themselves in charge of Edward’s love life, which was nonexistent because Edward was totally in love with his best friend who apparently thought he was a fucking pervert. Edward hung his head and sighed loudly.
Edward develops a brotherly relationship with Rosalie over the years and it shows on every moment they share together.
“Well, what happened,” Rosalie asked.
“He thinks you’re a pervert.”
“That’s it,” she shouted.
“God Rosalie, I don’t know what the fuck you expected to happen. It’s not like he was going to ask me to watch the movie with him.”
“So he didn’t say anything else?
“Just that he thinks you’re calling to get your movie back.”
“Yeah, about that,” Rosalie paused. “It’s your movie. I took it out of your drawer.”
What follows is a list of funny moments involving porn, misunderstandings and a new plan to get Jasper to acknowledge his “feelings” for Edward.
"Was it you," Rosalie repeated.
"Me what," Edward asked.
"The porno video during a presentation," Bella, Rosalie and Alice all said at once.
"I told you I found my movie," Edward mumbled and buried his face in his hands.
"Holy shit, it was you," Rosalie said. "What happened?"
"Laptop. The movie was in my laptop instead of my presentation disk," Edward groaned.
What Edward is not expecting is to have to ignore Jasper all together, something he hasn’t done in…ever! A little bit of a cat and mouse game, very entertaining for us readers but not for Edward LOL
“I’m done, Rosalie.”
“Done?”
“Yeah, no more stunts or tricks or underhanded plans. It never works because he doesn’t want me like that,” Edward said. He’s straight, Rosalie.”
It hurt to say the words. He closed his eyes and laid his head on Rosalie’s shoulder.
“Please don’t give up Edward. I know he cares about you. If he’s so straight, why hasn’t there been a girlfriend since Alice. That was three years ago.”

She flashed him a scary smile and his balls shriveled up.
"Rosalie," Edward whined. "Please. Please. I'll do anything."
"Then kiss him."
If you are looking for a romance with a little humor in the mix Like Wishing For Rain should be on your list. We are only four chapters into the story and things are starting to pick up.

Yes, yes, I know, I know. Christmas has long since come and gone. I was recently reminded of this story, however, and re-read it, and was shocked to realize... I’d never given it the lovin’ it deserved! So I’m here to rectify that error, so to speak.
K, one of the ladies that make up Alsper was bored one day, and I offered her a challenge. Write slash, I said. It has to be Christmas-y, I said. Be sweet, I said. And they delivered, writing Jasper’s Christmas Wish. This is a short one-shot which they claim to be an AU of a story they’re working on (don’t think I haven’t forgotten, ladies! I still want to read that, too, and hope to be able to do so soon ;-)), but is an excellent stand-alone.
Jasper and Peter are out looking for the perfect Christmas tree. They’ve been friends for most of their lives, and boyfriends for a few years. After high school, they moved to the city together so they could stop hiding who they are from the world.
Except... they don’t, not really. After all, it’s hard to give up deeply ingrained habits. Jasper, however, doesn’t let this deter him from doing what he loves to do this time of year: celebrate Christmas.
While Peter teases and jokes about what Jasper would like for Christmas, he truly does know. You’ll have to read for yourself to find out what it is, though.

I couldn't help rolling my eyes at him again. "Why do you love this holiday so much?" I asked him without thinking about it.
"Because it's the one time of year when hope is alive."
"And what are you hopeful for?" I asked him.
He looked over at me. "What do you think I am hopeful for?"
I shrugged before giving him a wicked smile. "Well, I know one thing it's not... since you already got that in the shower," I teased, timing it perfectly since he wouldn't be able to answer back as a family passed us.
