HIV/AIDS

There are two items that make an appearance in just about every Twislash story: Lube and Condoms.   They are packed for ever trip, sometimes stashed in every room, and nearly always readily available.

And just why are they so important? Let’s leave the lube for another day, but those condoms are crucial to preventing sexually transmitted diseases, and most crucially of all, preventing the deadly HIV/AIDS virus from spreading.

I know very little about HIV/AIDS, so I plan to share links where much more information can be found.

It’s totally awesome to be over here at TwiSlash Unveiled.  Thanks goes out to naelany for giving me the opportunity to let everyone know what I’m reading…I’m sure everyone is absolutely dying to know…rolls eyes…I have a few stories on alert right now…My drop everything I’ve got to read right at this precise moment is Sixty Five Hours by Owenic. The last update I read came when I was at work so I read it on my phone and let me tell you…I almost dropped my phone and fell off my chair. I know I gasped out loud…Really, if you aren’t reading that story… go now…it’s well worth it…Edward and Jasper work at Cullen Advertising. Jasper is out as a gay man and Edward is buried under a pile of clothes in the closet.  Hot Hot Hot!

Just some troubleshooting

Hello all! Don't mind me I'm just stepping in for a bit of technical troubleshooting. I think I have the bugs worked out and you shouldn't have any trouble with the readers now. *fingers crossed*

BTW, I've also enabled Mobile Blogger so when/if you access our lovely site from your mobile devices it should be much friendlier.

I miss and love you all and still think of you daily. Life was much simpler when I was immersed in the fandom and I find myself longing for those days now.

First off, let me say a HUGE thanks to Naelany for asking me to do this. I went from squeeeing like a fan-girl to panic stations in three point eight seconds. I didn’t know what the hell I was going to rec. Nearly everything I read, or have read, has already been recommended on this here wonderful blog, because let’s face it...there are some fucking awesome stories out there.

So, I spent hours scouring my faves list, my yet-to-read list, even the favourite lists of my favourite authors, ending back at my list of faves...and I narrowed it down. To two.

One is epically popular. The other is basically unheard of.

One is Twilight fanfiction, the other is not.

Good morning, y'all. Hope the day finds you safe, sound, and healthy. Today is the last day that Conversed joins us with a rec, I'm sad to say. Real Life called, and she's answering, so join me in wishing her well. Thank you, Conversed, for your wonderful contributions. I hope RL settles soon. I for one would love to see you back again. It's truly been a pleasure.

That said, I'd like to welcome MizzDee on board, who'll be taking over Conversed's spot. She'll be joining us with a rec in a couple of weeks, since Aradi and I'll be up next week. Wish her a warm welcome in the mean time, though.

For now, let's see what Aradi and Conversed have in store for us. Remember to bring a fresh pair of panties and some towels, and off we go!
