Good Boy is the story of Edward and Jasper. Edward a wealthy college student - the big man on campus - the sex god - needs help with a class and he turns to geeky, shy, math genius Jasper. Statistics aren't Edward's thing, but flirty and driving people insane is.
During their first encounter Edward comes off as the dominant one, but Jasper soon tires of that and switches their roles. It doesn't matter whether it's Edward or Jasper that's in control, it's still fucking hot as hell.
RobPat's Good Boy is a fabulous short story that will have you begging for more.

So color me a procrastinator, but I waited until last minute again, well last minute for me, for this week’s story. After a bit of a dumpster dive, I came across “Your Biggest Fan” by OfTheDamned late last night and after the first few paragraphs, I knew this was going to be my rec this week. So far, it is one very incredible, well told coming of age story.
Jasper Cullen, son of Carlise and Esme, is best friends with Edward Masen, fellow high school student and track team star. Edward has a less than ideal home life and spends almost every waking moment, including a lot of school nights, at the Cullens, who easily consider him family. OfTheDamned has easily written one of the most caring, sweetest Edward’s I have ever read-I mean…absolutely…perfect. Smart, incredible best friend, the most wonderful big brother to Alice you can ever imagine. We get to witness the thoughts of this intriguing character via his point of view-he really is an old soul in a teenager’s body.
Alice and Edward’s mother has died and their father has sunk into a depression, and could care less about the well-being of his children. And by the way, if you don’t tear up at the scene where Edward talks with his mom, you have no heart. Edward is the one ‘raising’ his fourteen-year old sister, making sure she is home, or at Bella’s. Alice has no one to turn to when she starts her period, she so goes to Edward-who adorably supports her with a hug, as he felt their mom would have done, and then immediately runs to Esme for advice on what he needs to tell Alice. Needless to say, he is delighted when Esme offers to talk Alice for Edward-not exactly a topic is comfortable with. This story has Bella as more of secondary character, but Alice is sweet enough to step and fill in the role of lead female.
Course, the heart of the story is the friendship between Jasper and Edward. As of chapter six, the furthest we have gotten is Edward feeling excited by Jasper’s touch, progressing to wanking off in the bathroom to small Jasper fantasy, and then waking up next to Jasper, almost daily, with morning wood. Gradually, Edward realizes he has these attractions to Jasper, and finds himself questioning some of Jasper’s responses and looks. He has not approached anyone, including Jasper, about his feelings and desires-as he fears the end of the friendship should he come forward. One cute moment was this…Edward approaches Esme about Alice after these feelings for her son have developed.
“I did. I needed to ask her a question, but a million different possibilities swam through my thoughts. Where do you draw the line between friends and lovers? Would you hate me if I kissed your son? Would it be weird if Jasper gave me a drawer?”
Sigh. Adorable I tell you! Honestly, the intensity of their friendship reminds me of my Jasper/Edward in “Safe and Sound”, their utter devotion to one another with no questions asked- only I have done my slash in outtakes.
There are so many great Jasper/Edward moments so far, Jasper is protective, caring and accepting of Edward. We definitely know more about Edward than Jasper, given the pov, but we learn a lot about Jasper, and his loyalty, through Edward’s eyes. I am hoping though, now that Edward has these feelings for Jasper, that we hear more about Jasper’s physical looks-more than a casual mention of his body in track shorts, or his tanned skin. I want details, people, DETAILS about how hot Jasper is…right?
While I am completely intrigued by this story, there has yet to be a lemon or lime of any kind, yet, this pleases me to no end! The author is taking their time developing their friendship, the base for their possible romantic relationship, and not rushing into ‘ohiloveyoucanifuckyounow’ phase…which, let’s admit, happens all too often. I am looking forward to the progression of their physical relationship, and know when it happens, it will be incredible.
I could go on and on with how much I have enjoyed this story so far, and hope to continue to do so. So, if you haven’t read this, definitely check it out, and leave the author some love for a beautiful Edward and job well done.
